What To Expect
We ask that you bring any recent x-rays, MRIs, or CAT Scans that are related to any spinal problems you may be suffering from. Our intake forms are all done online. No printing necessary!
These will be sent to you by email once you make your appointment. Fill them out to the best of your knowledge and with as much detail as possible. All history is helpful in this assessment. Please complete these forms at least 24 hours before your visit, if possible, so that the doctor has a chance to look over your paperwork.
We ask that you give yourself some extra time and arrive 5 minutes early to your appointment so that you are not feeling stressed or rushing to be on time.
The care in our office is different than many doctor’s offices. One of the ways we are different is that we almost always run on time. So your early arrival can ensure that other patients stay on time as well. Thank you for your consideration.
CONSULTATION
First, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential chiropractic care plan options. This initial visit is designed for the doctors to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
EXAMINATION
After your consultation, the doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your spinal health.
Some of the tests we utilize are:
- Facilitative pattern palpation
- Range of motion evaluation
- Motion palpation
X-RAY STUDIES
Depending on your specific condition, we may refer you for x-rays. X-rays can help us develop the most effective care plan for you and alert us of any serious spinal conditions.
We do not automatically x-ray every patient.
FOLLOW UP
Once we have gone through your health history and performed all necessary examinations, you will be able to receive your first adjustment as long as there are no contraindications to get adjusted.
At the end of your first visit, you will be scheduled for a follow-up visit according to what the doctor thinks would be best for your healing. If you need to get additional imaging, you will get your adjustment.
We will answer the following questions and any others you may have:
Can we help you?
How often do you need to come in?
What will your care cost?

FAQ
Chiropractic care is an all natural, non-invasive healthcare discipline that focuses on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, primarily those related to the spine and nervous system. Circle of Life Chiropractic uses manual adjustments to correct misalignments and promote natural healing by improving the function of the nervous system and restoring proper joint mobility.
Chiropractic care is generally safe for most people, but it’s essential to communicate your complete medical history and any specific health concerns with Dr. Lisa. She will conduct a thorough assessment to ensure that the treatment is appropriate for your condition and needs.
