Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Imagine your body as a delicate fabric, intricately woven together, where any imbalances, tension, or pulls in one area affect the entire body. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a light-touch approach that focuses on improving the body’s natural structure by assessing the components surrounding the central nervous system. This gentle therapy has the power to restore balance and promote a sense of interconnectedness in the body, allowing it to function at its highest potential.
The craniosacral system operates with its own pulsing rhythm, cycling approximately six to ten times a minute from the sutures in the skull to the spinal cord. This pulse can be disrupted by various factors, such as emotional and physical traumas, medications, and injuries. Through the use of gentle and minimal pressure techniques, we work with the bones of the skull and sacrum to minimize or release restrictions in this rhythm, optimizing the functioning of the central nervous system. As a result, a subtle ripple effect occurs on the deeper layers of membranes and cerebrospinal fluid, providing relief from discomforts such as headaches, migraines, and neck pain.
Craniosacral therapy provides a safe, nurturing space for deep relaxation and restoring a sense of peace and comfort in the body. This supportive approach calms the nervous system, from the head to the spine, helping to dissolve stress and tension caused by everyday life.
