The central nervous system controls most of the functions of the body and mind. Throughout our lives and even as early as birth, we go through many traumas; physical, mental, and emotional. These traumas create interference within our nervous system. When there’s interference, your body can’t perform at its full potential. We call this interference a subluxation, and as chiropractors, we have been trained to find and remove this nerve interference which will help you achieve optimal health.
About Dr. Lisa Krylova
She began her journey into holistic health through yoga, which she loved so much that she got her instructors certification and has now been teaching for over 9 years. The study of yoga sparked her interest in human anatomy, physiology and body movement which led to her completing her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology but that still wasn’t enough. Yoga and Kinesiology gave her a wealth of knowledge about how the body moves and works and how that can affect our health but there was one more piece to the puzzle. She wondered how she could help people when the body wasn’t able to move properly on its own or through assisted exercises. And that’s when she discovered chiropractic and it’s incredible health benefits.
Dr. Lisa’s love for chiropractic blossomed after going in to see a chiropractor for backache. By the time she got an appointment her backache had gone but she went in anyways. Her spine looked mostly healthy but the idea of allowing her body to function at it’s absolute best was intriguing so she started getting checked and adjusted regularly and her life changed. She felt better in ways she didn’t even know she could. She slept better, her immune system started working instead of being victim to every flu and cold that came its way, her headaches went away, she had more energy, felt mental clarity, and her entire body felt at peace (which is a miracle for a college student). There was something to this chiropractic. Something that the world needs more of. She imagined a world full of people all functioning at their peak potential mentally and physically. People that express life and health instead of sickness and dis-ease. It was then that she knew this would be her life’s work. After 3 more years of study, Dr. Lisa graduated Suma Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West and was finally able to do what she had dreamed of for so long.
